The Local Hub is a free online resource for the community and business owners alike. The truth is, many of the businesses and programs in our local communities go virtually unknown to those who can utilize their services. When I took the time to begin networking in Renville County, I quickly realized this truth for myself. The problem? There wasn’t a place where all of these places co-existed – until now.

Now, anyone can quickly, and easily, find the right person to fill their need; from Independent Sales Consultants to Restaurants, Apparel and Accountants. Need to let people know you have a summer softball league? This is the place for you too.

All the things in one place.

Who should join The Local Hub?

The Local Hub is for any business, non-profit, community program, etc. that exists in Renville County.

Your business or program will have a modern, chic page on the website that is easily searchable based upon category. Your page will be available under any category that is relevant to your business. For instance, if you are a salon that also sells giftware, you can be found under the categories Salons and Gift Stores. If you provide accounting services for the community but also offer education for business owners, you would appear in both areas.

Your page will tell the story of your business and answer questions such as:

Why did you start your business?
What services or goods you supply?
Where & how can people find you?

You are welcome to link any social media pages as well. There’s a multitude of ways your page can be tailored to your needs. Custom photography of your business will also be provided with this service.

What’s the cost?

The Local Hub is a free resource for community members and businesses alike. A few moments of your time is all that’s needed to gather the information to develop your page.

Eventually, the ability to utilized the Business Spotlight Page will be available for you to promote specials you are having or highlight certain parts of your business at a very low cost. This will be run blog style so the article that is written will stay on the website indefinitely. It will be a great resource for your business!

Why should I join?

That’s a good question and one that is not easily answered in a few paragraphs. There seems to be this mantra out there that small towns are dying. I simply don’t believe this to be true.

I believe we choose whether we live or die, flourish or just survive. The truth is, most community members or businesses don’t know the resources available right next door to them.

The Local Hub exists not only to connect the community to the businesses surrounding them, but also businesses to the resources available to help them grow and thrive.

It’s time we renew our excitement for all Renville County has to offer! It starts with you.

Can I customize my page?

To keep the site cohesive, all pages will have a similar layout and overall style to them. That being said, I believe it is important for a business to be authentic; so the custom photography as well as some colors and fonts will be changed to reflect the style and culture of your business on your business page.

Can my page be updated?

As a business owner, I understand that companies are often switching directions to stay relevant. That being said, I will check with you once a year to make sure there are no major updates that need to be reflected on your page.

If at anytime there is a change in contact info etc., this change can be made at anytime. Any changes that need to be made past what is stated above can be discussed by simply contacting me.

How do I get started?

It couldn’t be more simple. Just fill out and submit the form below. I will be in touch to set up a time to meet and gather the details I need. The Local Hub Network

The Local Hub Network is just getting started and the details are still being worked out. Essentially, it will provide a resource for businesses to actively refer/recommend community members to other local businesses. There will also be some other perks by way of advertisement, online marketplace opportunities and business education through The Local Hub that would otherwise be unavailable or cost significantly more. We are still working out the details of this thing but are incredibly excited to begin offering this! The ground work has been laid for The Local Hub and we will begin reaching out personally to businesses in the very near future!
